On Saturday morning supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party greeted the indications of their major election comeback by dancing to dhol rhythms in front of the party headquarters. According to the first available trends at 10:30 AM, BJP members surpassed the majority threshold by winning 43 seats while AAP secured 27 seats.
Delhi’s political center supported BJP with great enthusiasm because the party appeared to dominate in the Assembly election. Outside the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office a solemn environment prevailed with the stage prepared but no one occupying the chairs and no detectable celebration.
Tension at AAP Office Amid Declining Trends
The continuing trends of BJP dominance led AAP leaders Jasmine Shah and Anurag Dhandha to speak with NDTV while maintaining confidence through the disadvantages. The political rivals considered the competition against the “corrupt system” along with two major parties the hardest challenge during this battle according to Shah and Dhandha. Even though tension existed between these leaders they held firm belief AAP would win comfortably.
The first political victory of AAP occurred in 2013 with 28 seats before the government collapsed in 49 days. Among all the elections that AAP participated in the 2015 Delhi Elections yielded 67 seats and in 2020 it won 62 seats. The political environment of Delhi has started to change significantly based on present-day indicators.
Heavyweights Trailing in Early Results
During the early results Delhi CM Atishi faces defeat in Kalkaji constituency to Ramesh Bidhuri from the BJP. Two essential AAP ministers including Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are behind their BJP rivals in electoral contests respectively for Jangpura and Shakur Basti. The BJP candidates Kailash Gahlot and Gopal Rai are currently leading the Bijwasan and Karawal Nagar assembly seats.
Current Trends and Key Updates
The election trend at 10:30 AM demonstrates that BJP has victory in 43 seats and AAP holds 27 seats. So far Congress representatives have failed to secure any success in the election. Both BJP and AAP will strengthen their rivalry during the day and with upcoming vote results.
